Why training doesn’t stick
Nobody finishes a course and is suddenly good at this. They need a plan to use it again.
Most training is designed like a checklist. Or worse, like a presentation. The session runs, someone logs a completion rate and a CSAT score, and everyone moves on.
The only thing a completion rate measures is whether they completed it.
So we practice in the room, on their own real work, and they leave with something that still works when they open their laptop the next morning. And the next week, and eventually it becomes a habit, part of their behavior.
Yes, I can tell you whether they completed it and whether they liked it. I can also tell you which behaviors should visibly change afterward, because what they take away changes how they show up.
